Will typhoon signal no. 8 be hosted on Wednesday morning? I don’t think so. I have to go back to the lab no matter what anyway -_- (so it doesn’t really make any difference).

I do envy people living in Taiwan, why? Cos things like this are always announced in advanced. This is probably due to the fact that the area of Taiwan is alot larger and so general populations would have to travel for a longer distance and hence such early announcement is needed.

Anyway, we’ll see.

**Update: at 5:59am: OK, it’s typhoon signal no. 8 now, and the trees on my balcony are moving like mad

**Update: at 11:56am, although it’s still typhoon signal no. 8, as I’ve said…I am going to work now, finger crossed that I won’t be blown away by the wind X
